About Course

A Biopharmaceutical Development Certified Professional (BDCP) course is a training program that prepares individuals to work as professionals in the field of biopharmaceuticals, which are medical products derived from recombinant DNA technology. The course covers topics such as drug discovery, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of biopharmaceuticals, including recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, biosimilars, vaccines, and gene and cell therapies. The course also prepares individuals to take the BDCP Exam, which is required to obtain the BDCP certification from the Center for Professional Innovation and Education (CfPIE).

Eligibilities

Course is a certification program for individuals engaged in the discovery, development, manufacture and commercialization of biotechnology products and the course is open for those biopharmaceutical background ( Years of experience of Bachelor's degree ). To be eligible for this exam from CfPIE. , an applicant must meet the following requirements: Choose 3 core courses from a list of topics related to biopharmaceutical development. Choose 1 elective course from any of the other classroom courses. Complete the courses within a 36-month period.
