A Biopharmaceutical Development Certified Professional (BDCP) course is a training program that prepares individuals to work as professionals in the field of biopharmaceuticals, which are medical products derived from recombinant DNA technology. The course covers topics such as drug discovery, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of biopharmaceuticals, including recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, biosimilars, vaccines, and gene and cell therapies. The course also prepares individuals to take the BDCP Exam, which is required to obtain the BDCP certification from the Center for Professional Innovation and Education (CfPIE).
